Terms and privacy
Plain words, short version. Last updated November 2026.
Using the town
Aincrad City is a free, just-for-fun 3D town. You can look around, walk, drive and ride the bus without an account. Please be kind in chat: no hate, no harassment, no spam, no personal details of other people. We may remove messages, names or houses that break this, and block people who keep doing it.
Coins, levels, hats and decorations are play items. They have no money value and cannot be cashed out. The town is offered as it is, and things may change, reset or go offline while we build it.
What we store
- In your browser (localStorage): small settings such as the radio, name tags, quality, whether you have seen the guide, and, if you play without signing in, your look and game progress. Clearing your site data removes them.
- One cookie: a signed session cookie named
sid, only after you sign in or continue as a guest, so the server knows it is you. - On our server: your username, a hashed password if you set one, your look, your house colours, your game progress, and chat messages you send. While you walk around, your position in town is shared with other players nearby so they can see you.
No ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party cookies. The only outside request is for the open source three.js library from a public CDN.
Deleting your data
Guest houses are temporary and are cleared after a while. To delete a resident account and everything linked to it, send a message to our Instagram account from the handle that owns the house, or write to the town team, and we will remove it within 30 days.
About the residents
In this demo, the resident handles you see on houses are invented names generated for testing. They are not real people and any likeness to a real account is a coincidence.
